I just bought an Audiobox 1818VSL and I use on my 13' Macbook, pro 2.9 Ghz early 15s version and I use it to record through Logic Pro X. When I go to record anything, whether a vocal through a mic, or a guitar straight through, I am getting an obnoxious popping and crunching sound, kinda similar to the sound you would get if there was interference in the frequencies. I've tried lowering the buffer rate and I have tested the cables and mics, but it is still doing it. Let me know what I need to do please.

You would need to raise the buffer size, not lower to try and eliminate the issues you are having.  Also confirm that your sample rates are set the same in your DAW and control panel.
