There is a USB MIDI connection with the synth. I can see input and out put response in de the MIDI indicator on the the bottom left. But it not possible to select as input on the the MIDI track. And no sound appears when selected as output. I think I miss a specific setting, but which one?

Some help very appreciated

Thx

Marc

Try setting your GR55 as a keyboard, not an instrument.  That's the only thing I can think of off the top of my head.  It's down to the way S1 using instruments and controllers.  When you add instruments, you are adding things like rack mount synth modules, like the Roland d110.  Keyboards are controllers like the Atom, the Roland A-800 Pro, Arturia Keystep or a drum kit.

Thx so far, i did as you suggested and now I can see and record the input in the track. I have also set it up separately as instrument for send only, but still no result.
