Serious bug in search?!

A feature I really love, is to be able to search for plugs when I click the "+" beside "Inserts" in the Console.

However, one thing has really begun to annoy me.

Most the time (not always for some reason), if you happen to stop typing for a second, the window gets deselected and the following keystrokes are interpreted as Keyboard Shortcuts. NOT GOOD!!! Anything can happen depending on what keys you happen to type. Sure - you can hopefully undo the damage - if you are even aware of what is happening. If this isn't counted as a bug it is definitely a serious workflow error.

I haven't experienced it in the Browser, only in the Console.

Thanks for all of your feedback. I don't doubt that you and other people are experiencing this issue, but this is the first that I have heard of this problem and cannot reproduce it on my end. Please make sure that you are updated to version 3.3.4 and see if you are still having the same issue. Also, please try removing your settings from S1 and re-configure. Here are instructions:

1. Go to Help>Open Settings folder.

2. Copy the contents of the folder over to a folder on your desktop.

3. Close S1 and delete the contents of the settings folder with the exception of the user.license file.

4. Open S1 and go to Studio One>Options (Preferences on a Mac) to reconfigure your settings.

5. Test to see if the problem is resolved. If it is not, please feel free to copy your settings files back over from the backup that you created in step 2.

*If you are missing presets or Sound Sets after doing this, simply double-click one of your Sound Sets under Documents>Studio One>Sound Sets.

If you continue to have an issue, please try creating a new user account on your computer and log into that account. See if you can identify if this issue is user account related.
