Hi, I am having trouble managing song names and maintaining version control in the Project space of StudioOne Professional v5. Let's say the song is called "Do It" and I import version five into the Project space (file name for me would be "Do It 5.song"). In the list of song titles for the Project how do I ensure Studio One ignores the version number? Secondly, if I use the edit function and make a lot of changes (I would want the new version to have file name "Do It 6.song") is there a way to have Studio One automatically give the new version the new version number yet maintain the proper name for the song list.
Thanks - I hope the question is not confusing - perhaps the root is the relationship between the names of the songs as they will appear on the CD, and the name of the *.song files used for the songs on the CD. Obviously they can't be the same or how would you know which version of your song is in the Project.
