Question

I would just like some confirmation if this configuration works before upgrading. Has anyone upgraded to Logic Pro 10.7 on M1 Mac, Big Sur with a Quantum 2626 over Thunderbolt using Universal Control 3.6.0.66460?

I've had multiple issues with my Quantum 2626 and M1 I purchased both new ins January 2021. I waited for the drivers, then it wouldn't provide the permissions box in security. After a few days and many attempts I got it to work. Now Apple rolled out an upgrade from Big Sur to Monterey. Now I'm back to trying to get the permissions box to appear. There are numerous threads on these related topics but no solid answers just a few hacks that most likely will work with enough determination.

I worked with Apple (Genius Bar) it was a circular exercise in futility. I can't fault Apple for there overall product support but the genius I worked with got offended when he couldn't find a solution. That's when He directed me to some Youtube videos that I've already seen too many times and dismissed this issue as resolved.

I have the same issue. Universal Control sees the Quantum 2626 - solid blue light but the Audio Interface is not showing up in Logic.

FWIW, I have a 2626 with a Mac Mini M1 and I never had any issues out of it. Now, I purchased the everything about 3 month ago, so maybe all of the bugs have been ironed out.
