If you drop a chord track sequence onto a string section, then the string section modifies notes to fit the chord track.

but.

If the bar is moved out of chord track's circle of influence, then it will not retain the modified notes.

how do I permanently "Write" or "Burn" the chord into an event, so that the "Chord Track" modification is retained by the event when moving it to another song location.

This can be done by selecting Action -> Freeze Pitch.
