This is a small quality of life workflow improvement I'd like to see if possible. It came from it being a little cumbersome to hear a given audio event. For instance if you have a ton of FX samples in your song, you might need to check what a specific one actually sounds like. Doing so now requires you to solo it, place the play marker and then play. While not the end of the world, it doesn't provide a very fluid workflow experience.

My suggestion to alleviate this is to be able to hold down right mouse button on top of an audio event and it will play it (soloed).
If you hold down shift + right mouse button it will start playing from the cursor position within the event.
Obviously releasing the right mouse button will stop the playback.

As holding down right click currently does nothing it's available to use for this.

For the sake of uniformity the same functionality could be applied to MIDI events and patterns.
The functionality applies to both the arranger and editor window.

If it isn't too complicated to implement it would certainly be a very welcome workflow enhancement.
