Can I connect my balanced Aux outputs to unbalanced amps for monitor mixes, and are TS cables safe?

I am trying to set up a rehearsal room with limited equipment. The mixing setup is based around the Presonus 16.0.2 USB mixer and a pair of PA active speakers. I would like to connect instruments directly to the mixer, and create several auxilliary mixes for the band.

The problem starts here. We have several traditional combos for guitar/bass/keyboard with unbalanced TS inputs, and only one balanced input PA/wedge. I am reading conflicting advice about whether it is reasonable or safe to connect the balanced Aux outputs of the StudioLive to unbalanced inputs of combos (presumably using good quality 1/4" TS instrument cables). Can we do this? Will it sound terrible? Will it damage the StudioLive, or is it designed for this scenario?

If it's a bad idea, is there another way to connect them up, or do we have to use balanced gear for monitoring?

Hi. Don't worry. It's perfectly fine to plug a TS lead into a balanced TRS output and then plug the othe end of the lead into an unbalanced input.  No problem at all with that.
