"Sound On Sound" RECORDING OPTION
The new material is merged with any existing material. This means that any existing clips on the track are left unchanged and all newly recorded material is stored in new clips. While recording, you will be able to hear material from existing clips. This makes recording takes so easy when you need to hear the audio that may be good and you want to fix the bad. You just start playback record and play in the section you want to make the correction. I miss this option so much that is in another DAW I have. Also have all record options show using right click on the master record button. (comping, overwrite, sound on sound etc.) One stop shop! Please vote for this you won't regret it if we can get it.
