Ive setup a null test with the Offline and Realtime bounce in StudioOne and weirdly to my findings they do not null...what i seem to be left with this is this strange harsh high end artifact sound from the null this is also with no plugins or anything to change the sound i have re done the test with the same file in pro tools and it seems to null idk what kinda witch magic studio one has got going on lol but i'm almost worried that every time i bounce with studio one i'm gonna get some kind of high end artifacts in my music that didn't sound to pleasant can somebody maybe look more into this?

@colinotoole When you export mixdown in studio one it gives you options (Use Realtime Effects) aka realtime and then with this option off would be considered Offline bouncing. Pro tools and most daws have the same feature.

Ah, I see, thanks. I'm familiar with these processes, just wasn't sure what you meant. A curious thing, I'll have to try it. Cheers.

Hi. I've just tried this test: I recorded a short speech and then 'exported mixdown' both in realtime and offline, as you say. I then dragged both mixdowns back into the song (muting the originaltrack). I put mixtool on one track and inverted it. Bingo! No sound whatsoever, not a sausage, even with my system volume on full whack! (Be careful with that, though, folks: if you were to mute one of the tracks accidentally then 'boom'! - could be very loud/blow your cones lol).
