I am hoping someone can help me resolve an issue that is starting to occur more and more frequently (even more in studio one v6!).
When I record an instrument (guitar or bass) directly in to an audio track ocassionally a portion of the track is silent on playback, sometimes just a bar or two and others to the end of the track. The wave form has recorded and is clearly visible but it is muted. I first encounterd the problem in V5 , if I recorded an alternative portion of a track on a seperate audio and spliced it in somtimes patches of silence appeared, they would dissapear again if the spliced section was moved back to its original track. Now they are seeminly appearing at random in any track I record and starting to become a real pain. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
