While the 16.0.2 cannot be daisy-chained to another 16.0.2 in order to create a single 32 channel mixer for live use (as with the 16.4.2 and 24.4.2), you can add additional inputs and outputs for recording purposes by chaining a FireStudio Mobile or FireStudio Project to the second firewire port on your mixer.
Please note: The Inputs of the daisy-chained unit cannot be mixed through the mixer via firewire. These inputs are for recording purposes only. To use the FireStudio inputs in a live situation, you would need to patch the analog main outputs of the FireStudio interface into a pair of inputs on the mixer (a pair of channels, etc) with the FireStudio essentially functioning as a sub-mixer. Also note, the only way to mix or adjust the FireStudio channels is through the software mixer on a connected computer.
