I don’t see how to create horizontal brackets such as are routinely used in classical guitar music, preceded by a Roman numeral. In musescore one selects the duration needed and clicks on
Text—————-| in the palette, where one is then allowed to substitute the Roman numeral or anything for the text. For example, the Dm I am playing in the thumbnail photo would show V————| for as long as I’m playing at the fifth fret.
