Say I move a sample to a new pad by accident, how do I undo this action? It doesn't register as a typical undo/redo and I can't find any info on this. I can't be the only one encountering this and looking for an answer...?

I have the same question. But there is a workaround. Before editing Impact save your changes. Then you can press File->Revert to undo.
