As Amy mentioned, yes you can add song information under Song>Song Information> then there is two tabs, Song Notes or Track Notes.
Track notes can also be added if the i button is clicked for a given track which will pop open the information column. There you'll see a little notepad and pencil icon, and under an area where you can type your "track notes".
As far as adding pictures of your hardware preamps and mic setups, I would suggest to take good, clear pics of your hardware buttons/input settings, etc. and store them in the media folder of each song you're working on with a common (consistent) file-naming structure to describe date/hardware/track etc.
