Hi Guys.

I want to build my IEMs Rack, but I was thinking if the StudioLive16 can be the brain without any mic splitter, I play with backing tracks (coming from daw) a kemper amp, and 1 vocal mic, so, I don't see any need to buy a mic splitter rack, I was wondering if for the main out XLRs (FOH) Can we send all the sounds excluding 2 channels (1 the guitar, 2 click track), and use the Mix Outs for the IEMs system where I can include the guitar channel and the click track.

As far as I can see (Studiolive 24r) all TRS outputs can be routed freely (source from flexmix, sub group, fx send, solo bus, main mixbus). The XLR outputs seem to be stuck to the main L+R.

you could route all inputs to L+R and use the 6 flex mixes in aux mode with a pre fader configuration;

Main L+R: IEM mix
flex 1: Backing L (only send this channel)
flex 2: Backing R (etc)
flex 3: Kemper L (etc)
flex 4: Kemper R (if you use stereo fx/ modeling)
flex 5: Vocal mic

That would leave 1 flex mix for whatever (mono iem for guest artist? wedge  monitor?)

sadly I haven't found support to send direct outs from top of a input channel to the flex out's

I do however think that this setup is quite fiddly since the gain staging has to be done on your side, tho I also see the rider-friendliness of only bringing 5 line sources to a venue

A small sidenote; it is possible use the built in headphone amp with main L+R as a source, could save you having to bring a headphone amp if you play with wired iems.

Hope it helps :)
