I have the Series III 16R StudioLive Preamp/Mixer and a new Presonus HP60 headphone mixer.  I can't figure out how to connect my studio monitors.  Before the Presonus HP60, I connected my studio monitors to the Main Outputs.  But, now the HP60 requires to go from the Main Outs of my mixer into the Input A stereo inputs.  That left me with no way to go from the mixer to the studio powered monitors.  I ended up using two Aux Outputs (1 for left speaker and the other for the right speaker), but this seems inefficient to me AND I could use those Aux for the signals to the HP60 for the instrument monitoring.  Maybe I'm not doing it right.

For headphone use, seems like you could use one of the AUX outs (maybe, setup as a Matrix).  The main outputs of the console should only be used for FOH (or studio speakers).  Anything with a headphone, should be satisfied with an AUX (or Matrix) send.
