Personally, I feel that Thunderbolt 4’s ultra-wide bandwidth is really not useful for audio. So Thunderbolt 3 is more suitable. The now popular USB4 interface is also compatible with Thunderbolt 3, which is faster than USB3.0. Thunderbolt 3 is simply the best choice; AVB is also open source. There are no additional charges.
