Hi mattcaprio,

Below are my answers after your questions:

Question: What is the context in which you have to disconnect and reconnect it?

Answer: Each time I turn on my computer, there is no sound. It is at that point I have to disconnect and reconnect. 

Question: Is your computer going in to sleep mode at any point? PreSonus hardware isn't supported with sleep mode enabled and will almost always require the device be resynced for use. If the computer is not going to sleep at any point, please try connecting to different USB ports. This can fix any number of issues.

Answer: The computer is not going to sleep. The problem happens when first turninng on the computer. It's not clear to me why using a different USB port would fix the issue. Please elaborate.
