I would like to suggest a feature (as an option on template or global level) where we are able to create a default FX chain that will be loaded automatically on every audio channel that is added (so also for VST instruments) and (FX) busses.

When is this useful?

This can be useful if you want to load for instance Mix Tool and Level meter on any channel. Or if you want to automatically load your favorite channel strip or chain on every audio channel.

So basically this would give us the option to create our own custom default console channel layout or simply load our personal tools we like/need/use for every channel.

Like this example where the Mixtool and level meter are loaded for every new channel (non existing behavior):

Yes. That would be very welcome. I woud like to always have vu-meter as first effect on every channel without adding it manually.

Yes, that would be such a simple, but amazing improvement.

Agreed. This should be VERY simple to implement. There's already a "Default" FX chain which you should be able to populate and replace. Studio One simply doesn't load the "Default" chain in any circumstance. I'm not even sure WHY there is a Default fx chain if it doesn't load by default.

Hell, even the add track dialog box defaults to "No Preset".

Yes, this would save lots of time when mixing many tracks, also having peak meter near db would help too
