I have a program on Windows that outputs to the Studio 192 on channels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. I have six speakers connected to outputs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

In Universal Control AI, the input from the Windows application appears on DAW 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Mix 1/2 and Mix 3/4 can be used to select 3, 4, 5, 6 and direct them to the desired output channels. I cannot get inputs 5 and 6 to sound on any of the output channels.

If I select Bypass Mixer it directs everything correctly but I would like to be able to make adjustments to the mix.

DELL PC
Universal AI 1.5.1.38092
Presonus 192 Firmware 1.6-27

Universal Control allow you to create multiple mixes of all inputs with DAW return channels.  You can create a Main Mix and additional separate mixes for Line Outs 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, ADAT 1/2, etc.

When using UC, it control what will go to any output pair, all of them, one or however many.

The DAW channels can be anything you set or route or mix to from your recording software.

However, this is what you need to keep in mind.  All outputs of the Studio 192 are individual.

Main Outs L/R = 1/2

Line Outs 1 thru 8 = 3 thru 10

Headphone 1 = 11/12

Headphone 2 = 13/14

SPDIF = 15/16

ADAT = 17 thru 32.

Its offset by one pair.
