Hello. I am thinking of making the switch from my RME Fireface UFX to the presonus 192.

I would like to know what kind of warranty is offered on Presonus products, The two-year warranty on my RME Fireface didn't seem like a big deal until the main board died at just under the 3-year mark, leaving me with an 800 dollar bill!!

I want to make sure I won't simply be getting the same thing by switching over. Can somebody tell me what kind of lifespan is expected from these units? (and don't give me the "there is no guarantee with electronics" speech) If a product is made, a company should back it, yes, there are the extreme circumstances, but for me, who is using a completely dry line from my power box, into a power conditioner, with no heavy draw lines on the same thing except a few preamps, my units should not be frying up!

Thanks for your help. Sorry if my frustration shows. The whole reason I bought a higher end interface is because I wanted it just to WORK.

A 1-Year Limited Warranty begins on the original date of purchase from the retail purchaser. You can read more about the warranty in section 7 of the manual: https://pae-web.presonusmusic.com/downloads/products/pdf/Studio192_Family_OwnersManual__EN_090320161.pdf
