Question

In the Main mix in UC Surface.

The left one is on the position of the Flex fader and only has a meter and the GEQ botton, the right one is on the far right end and is also the Main fader. Both EQ sections can be selected for editing.

One seems to be redundant and taking up space... Can anyone explain the reason why this is or could be designed this way?

Referring to the current CS18AI firmware: CS 1.0.9203 and the current RM32AI firmware SL 1.0.9244 and UC Surface for iPad 1.8.0

The Flex Fader has options for changing parameters in that bus, ie fat channel, eq, so it's always viewable on the output bus you've selected.

You are always welcome to make a feature request in the StudioLive Feature Request area if you'd like to see the behavior differently than in it's current design.
