Quantise Help... Marker always after transient start????

Hi,

Not sure if this is me being dumb, but when I quantize audio, the bend marker is always slightly after the transient start.

Therefore, everytime I quantise anything, it ends up ahead of the beat. Obviously I can adjust the threshold to add or remove bend markers, but can you adjust where in the transient they start. Its not very accurate right now.

Is there an adjustment for where the audio bend puts the marker in relation to the transient??? Or is this an issue in Studio one. I have a screenshot but can't work out how to put it on this post...

Unfortunately there's no setting to solve this. I'm sorry to say, but the current bend marker behavior simply is wrong and inconsistent.

Quantize is indeed applied to the bend markers which reside at the end of the transient detection area often behind the actual point you want to quantize. While slice is applied on the transient detection area start (that's correct). The bend marker behavior also causes issues for MIDI note events created from bend markers. Note-on's are created from bend markers (too late), while note-off's are created from transient starts. This misplaces the MIDI equivalent but will also cause wrong note lengths.

My suggestion is to use Melodyne, it's more accurate (or manually create/place the bend markers if you have some spare time)
