The Play Start Marker keeps resetting to the beginning of the song, which is starting to become a bit frustrating that I have to then zoom out to drag back into position then zoom back in again to where I am currently working on the song (I am aware of the shortcut Alt+P, but that just adds more unnecessary steps to getting it back). I mainly use this feature when I am looking to replace a sample with another one from a library of samples. I am not to sure if it may be because I am accidentally hitting a shortcut that I am not aware of or that it maybe a bug in the program.

So, to rule out the first possible option of why it happens, is there a shortcut that will reset the Play Start Marker back to the beginning of the song?
- When browsing through those folders of samples, I am only pressing the Alt button and the mouse index finger button for dragging the replacement sample and the space button to play and pause. After dragging a few samples it unexplainabely resets the Play Start Marker back to the beginning.

UPDATE - I have recently discovered that after dragging the start marker to the desired position and then clicking on play, that if I click anywhere else on the bar/time line it will auto reset the the start marker to the beginning. For now to avoid resetting I am just clicking on the rewind and fast forward buttons at the bottom to get around it.

This kept happening to me and I wasn't sure why (I'm new to this software). But then I realized that, if I hit the keyboard shortcut ( , ) to start the song from the beginning WHILE the was playing, the Play Start Marker gets reset to the beginning of the song. This also happens if, while the song is playing, you click on an area in the timeline that comes BEFORE the Play Start Marker (for example, if the Play Start Maker is placed on the 4th measure, but you click on the 2nd measure in the timeline -- the timeline being the bar at the top that tells you which measure you are at). Hopefully that makes sense.

UPDATE: This also happens if I click ANYWHERE on the timeline bar while the song is playing.
