I have an old Firepod that I'm not using at the moment. I have a bran new PC (all USB) and I would like to hook up the 8 analogue outs of my Firepod to my new interface (8 analogue line ins) and use the preamps of the Firepod. Is it possible?

Thanks,

Originally you did not have direct I/O functionality when the FirePod was not connected to a computer.  You could update the firmware to FP10 that does allow for stand alone function.
