Question

I have FIRE STUDIO 26 in/out Fire wire interface, that wont turn on. When I plug it in, the power supply starts making a clicking sound and the yellow led turns off. Once I unplug from the interface side, the power supply stops clicking and the yellow led light turns back on.
 The power supply is OK because it turns on my digimax without clicking. And I have tried the digimax power supply (which is the same) and it does the clicking as well, only when plugged into the firestudio.
I have tried a separate power point, without a power board to no avail.

The power supply Model is: F10502-A

Unfortunately, it sounds like you need to have your FS2626 serviced. PreSonus is no longer able to service that unit, as it has gone end of life; meaning that there are no more available parts in house to be able to repair the device. You can try a 3rd party repair shop and they should be able to service the unit.
