Question

I had to wipe my hard drive and start fresh. I've been using my fire studio for over a year without any problems but now after re downloading studio one and the latest driver, studio one cannot find the firestudio no matter what I do and how I adjust my MacBook settings. What do I do?!

Try using a different firewire cable.  Try the second firewire port.

Open the System Report of your Mac and check under firewire.  If your FireStudio is properly connected and powered on, then it should show as a FireStudio Project or Mobile.  If so, then things should work.

If not, then you may need to suspect hardware failure.  Contact PreSonus Support to determine this.
