Thank you for the response.  Regarding "Studio One will still show a picture of the AudioBox USB 2x2 for any given AudioBox unit connected to a PC regardless," I am looking at the the screen on my HP Pavilion and S1 clearly shows the pictures of both the AudioBox USB 2X2 *and* the 1818 VSL, *and* it allows me to chose between the two.  It recognizes and offers as a choice both interfaces.  On the HP Envy, new computer, it does not -- It is like you describe: only shows AudioBox USB regardless of which is connected.  So I guess what you are saying is that selecting "AudioBox" as the interface under Studio One > Options in the case where it does not specify which AdioBox type really does not matter?  It is essentially a generic selection, not specific to model, and by selecting "AudioBox" I am okay to run either the 2X2 USB *or* the 18181VSL just based on whichever is plugged in and I am using at the time?  It is simply something I have to get used to seeing but does not effect operation?  Again, thank you so much for the quick response!

Do you have UC 1.8.1 installed on your Pavillion? And do you have the v1.3 (or earlier) driver installed on your other computer?

If so, this may be why you're seeing disparate situations.

Regardless, you are correct when you say "I am okay to run either the 2X2 USB *or* the 18181VSL just based on whichever is plugged in and I am using at the time".
