At the moment I an recording my band with the StudioLive 24.4.2 AI thru Firewire to a Windows 7 computer.
I would like to know if I can record to any Windows computer using Dante?
I am considering buying a SL-Dante-MIX for my StudioLive 24.4.2 AI, but how easy is it to connect the StudioLive mixer to a Windows computer for recording?
Can I simply connect the StudioLive mixer to my computer directly using an ethernet cable from the Dante card SL-Dante-MIX in the mixer to the Computers ethernet port? As easy as if I connect til StudioLive mixer to the computer thru Firewire?
