After latest firmware update, RM32AI auxes set to pre won't send signal

We use the AUX outs on our RM3AI for personal in-ear monitoring, and these are all set to PRE (not POST).

Prior to the firmware update, if the single master channel for each aux was unmuted while the individual channels selected for the aux were muted, we received the mix as expected (pre-fader) over the aux outs .  This allowed us to noodle in between sets and verify mix levels while nothing was sent over the mains.

Once we updated, the auxes won't send any signal unless both the aux out AND the individual channels are unmuted.  This results in the undesired effect that individual channels routed to the mains would now be be heard over the mains.

Anyone else experiencing this?  I can't believe this is a desired behavior ...

Not sure if I understand your question. Muting an input channel affects ANY output and it doesn't matter where you mute a channel. This behaviour is normal and as it should be. "Pre" means pre-fader, in order to make your aux mix independend from the main mix, but "Pre1" and "Pre2" also refer to the amount of processing of the input channels. Muting has nothing to do with pre- or post-fade.

I think there was something wrong with the very first firmware(s), so from what version did you update and what is your present firmware version?
