If the default record/playback device in Windows is set to Presonus 16.0.2, why is only channel 1 sending a signal?

  • Windows 10 Home x64
  • Skype Version 7.28.80.101
  • StudioLive 16.0.2 / 4.1.3.17537
  • StudioLive 16.0.2 / 5486

I'm broadcast live to an internet station in another state.  I use 5 mic channels for the mix. The station uses Skype as a connection portal, both to and from.  When I connect to the station via Skype, they can hear my control room mic. None of my other four channels will go thru - Firewire on/off, Dig Out on/off, nothing from those channels.  Recording to my software, all mics work as they should. Main mix, all mics work.  Monitors, all mics work.

No matter what I change, adjust, move, connect, etc., my 2-5 channels will not go to the Skype output.

I added the information asked for, and if more is needed, just reply.  I will happily get it and provide it.

I would probably use aux 1&2 on the 16.0.2 as the signal sent to skype so all channels would be set there and through

Ofcourse send the channels you need to aux 1&2 and use those to send to skype

To choose those aux's as main out to skype, you will have to set that up in your Universal Control > Settings > WDM setup Inputs/outputs

I do not have a 16.0.2 here, so I can't really tell you exactly which channel numbers they are in there. But that shouldn't be the hardest to test - In the WDN setup it is just a drag and drop

You can ofcourse use the mains, but this would present a problem if you are talking to someone on skype. They would hear themselves
