Ableton Link would be a great addition to Studio One.

To be able to sync with Link enabled iOS app and Link enabled desktop apps is the future of collaborative product.

This is now enabled in Reason, Serato, Tracktor and most iOS app. As Studio One is a forward thinking DAW, adding this makes sense.

This one feature is the one missing link of my dream workflow: Running Ableton synced on a second system as a sound design hub and pattern sequencer, and tying it all together in Studio One. Please consider it!

Yes please, this would be a very good feature to have. With this, we could run the two DAWs in parallel and get the best of both worlds.

Dear Presonus Please Please add these feature. I'm hoping that eventually one can use the new Presonus Quantum with two separate DAW computers via  the two Thunderbolt 2 ports. But also if one uses a device like the MOTU AVB interfaces with the StudioLive 32 then each MOTU interface can be connected via USB or Thunderbolt to a different DAW Computer. It will be great if each computer ran Studio One linked via Abelton Link and Wifi.
I have seen the latest update for Bitwig with Abelton Link and it is a great feature.

FYI - Ableton Link is going to be available in Bitwig 2.2, so adding Ableton Link to Studio One makes even more sense to be able to connect to forward-thinking apps and DAWs.

Studio One 4 is already one of the best all-around DAW's available and very strong in the mixing and mastering area as well as on the creation side of things. With the new Splice supported online collaboration features, we are able to work over the internet (using Studio One together with Teamviewer and VoiceMeeter my friend and I are able to both create on a single machine whilst talking and sending the sound over a Teamviewer VoIP call). Now all that is missing is the ability to sync workstations when my friend visits with his laptop! Ableton Link makes sense as Ableton is already popular and it would just be a huge plus on the creativity side allowing us to jam with friends in the same room with ease! I would very much like to see this feature implemented!

Yes please to this. With Impact XT able to work as a sample looper, I could connect to Serato as well for some scratching fun. Also, I'm sure quite a few users of Studio One would happily use it with Ableton and vice versa.

Up.

So we've got a live mode that uses scenes. If we could se Ableton Link support it could save our time to use and connect cables during setup. Or you could sync some wireless stuff from mobile devices that are used nowadays on scene.

How do you drop 5.0 and leave out Ableton Link? SMFH that was boneheaded especially adding performance mode..... They claim they are listening to the users but this has fallen on deaf ears for way too long.

Yes Ableton link would be the missing "link" ... . Especialy with the new show page. It would make syncing to fellow musicians so much easier. Its the only thing why I use ableton at all. Only for live. But PLEASE LINK THE LINK !

Clearly a must have with the Retrospective Midi record.

I even have an Akai Force hardware that support the Ableton Link. Am struggling atm with Midi Sync, MTC ect.... it’s soo much easy with Ableton Link additionally it’s open source. Please add that in SO5.1 :)

I have some awesome ios sequencers and granular synths I would love to sync up with studio one.  Syncing would be easier and much tighter with Ableton Link.  Please consider, it is one of the few things that would make me purchase studio one.

Hi this request has been open for 4 years, hopefully it gets some traction soon, Studios tend to operate more than one DAW and StudioOne should have this feature id  its too be the main Studio DAW

I agree that Link support in Studio One would be a very useful and valuable addition.

This has become even more important now that ReWire is deprecated.

Simple, effective syncing up with other DAWs and with iOS devices is much to be desired!

Hello guys i want to participate in this feature request.
Even Pro Tools now has Ableton Link. Ableton Link is cruicial for syncing external sequencers and tracking all your synthesizers.
I think of it as a Tapemachine, that runs sync with your Outboardgear.
At the Moment, i still use Ableton, and then export Stems to mix and tweak all that stuff. Sadly i hate this, always switching between 2 DAW´s is madness.
Also the Workflow in Studio 1 is way better than Ableton, i know all the Shortcuts, have Makros etc. Only Stupid thing is this Missing Ableton Link. Even for Live Music Studio One could become a weapon of choice, if Link will be integrated.
So Please Presonus Programmer´s ask Ableton for Link, implement it, and at the end, have a happy consumer  :)

At the minute it’s either Ableton link in studio one or ara 2 in Ableton, and change daw. I cannot believe it hasn’t been added to s1 yet. Even pro tools has it. Please tell me why it is not a priority  Probably one of the most important features in a hardware/software based music studio right now.

Maschine +, mpc’s, pioneer dj, iPad apps but not presonus after 5.5 years

+1 For Ableton Link support. I'm using it with an Akai MPC live 2 in Ableton and Bitwig - and it works flawlessly in perfect time.

I'd love to see this level of synchronization in S1 as S1 is my preferred DAW to work in.

this would in theory fix the latency of the MPC Software/hardware workflow seeing the actual MPC has ableton link support integrated so that the MPC and Studio One can play in sync and utilize all of the features of the actual MPC from the mpc instead of workarounds that aren't consistent or flat out unusable.

Ill vote for it but wish it was something rewire.  I cant figure what it really does. Just syncs the tempo between daws? Sphere is cool to link people in studio one but not for subscription

I spent all night and part of the day looking for something like rewire. I found Blue Cat Connector for $49. It is not going to sync bpm etc like Link. But you can play ableton, pro tools, and other vsts in studio one. Just throwing that out there for anybody looking for something similar to rewire

Yeah this would be huge. I have an MPC One which has Ableton link, but not support for other daws (Ie in the sort of way a Mackie MCU would). It kind of sucks to have this beautiful piece of hardware but not be able to use it in the Studio One ecosystem (And Abletons ok, but S1 is my daw of choice)

Denon DJ Hardware also uses Ableton Link for sync. Before moving over to S1 from Ableton I could sync my external instruments (synths and drum machine) with my Denon DJ Prime 2 through the DAW. This is a feature I miss in S1!
