Presonus Eris E5 Problem

Hi,
 

I bought my Eris E5 speakers two years ago. And they were working great until the last week. One of them started to having a white noise constantly. And the noise was coming free from the source (computer or sound interface). I was wondering what the problem could be. I changed the power cable and etc.but it didn't work. Then I switched the AC select behind then tried to open it. But it didn't open. I switched it back and still no sign of life. It just went dead. And

the retailer company (I live in Finland) said that they can't fix it for free. So I wonder if it's a design problem and if it so can Presonus help me? Because on Presonus forum I have seen many people had similar problems but Presonus dealed with their issues. It sucks If I have to buy new pair of monitors. And in that case it wouldn't be Presonus because of my bad experience.

Have you tried to change the cabling? A cable going bad could have the same effect. Other than that you need to contact the Distributor in your country for repair information.
