I've just had one of the firewire input port plugs on the Dante card push in and break off from the surface mount.  Looking at it closely it only seems to be push mounted into the card by a couple of metal and plastic lugs, and 9 x 2mm soldered connections.  When will companies stop trying to save money by surface mounting plugs onto their boards, as anyone one can see that this will be a high stress area?.  So users beware.

Had the same problem with an AVB card. It was replaced. I only payed shipment of the mixer (RM32AI) to the service center (Germany). Obviously PreSonus had a quality problem with the cards"first generation", but I also see that they are interested to improve things. The AVB card replacement is of better quality. Good to see that a manufacturer takes care of details!
