Question

When I write automation by turning my midi knob during recording, Studio One v2 reduces the resolution of the midi information immediately after recording. How do I tell  Studio One to retain the original number of automation points?  Sincere thanks to Presonus. Studio One is great software. Regards, Sean

Studio One does automatically remove unnecessary automation in many cases and there's currently no option or preference to make it not do that.

If you believe the reduction goes to far and/or would like a preference to not auto-reduce automation that way, search for an existing request for that here in the Feature Request section and vote it up, or if there is not already a Feature Request for that, create one and encourage others to vote it up.
