Hello,

I'm getting some clicks and pops and I can't seem to narrow down the source. I use two computers, one a Mac running El Capitan. Another is a windows 7 PC. I use an audio box 1818vsl as the brains of my rig. I have an ART tube opto connected via light pipe running adat for 8 more channels. I also have an ART digital MPA connected via digita coax for two more channels.

When tracking with only the audio box, no problems at all. However, when using the tube opto or the digital MPA, I keep getting all these pops and clicks. No external clock. I'm guessing a sample rate issue?

Please advise. Thanks!

Matt

It is a clocking issue which could be a driver issue.

Install the current device drivers.  Leave the AudioBox 1818 set to Internal Clock.  Set the Art to receive external clock.  BNC cables are recommend for stable clocking between devices.
