Too many automation points automatically deleted.

When automating, after releasing the fader or whatever I'm controlling, S1 deletes "unneccessary" points. However, it's too broad and leaves me with long fades. Is there a way to "fine tune" this without having to edit each point manually?

There is no preference or setting to control how Studio One chooses to auto-reduce what it sees as unnecessary automation.

If you think there should be, that the parameter range for that is too broad, make it a Feature Request here in Answers.   Search the Feature Request section first to make sure that someone else has not already made that request and if they have, vote it up instead of making a duplicate.

I agree wholeheartedly.  There should simply be an option to "trim automation after pass" like in Reaper or Pro Tools. This way we can leave the detailed fader moves or have them automatically trimmed up.
