My computer is MacBook Pro OS Sierra v 10.12.3

Universal Control v 1.8.3.40882

StudioOne 3 v 3.3.3.41198

StudioLive RML32 AI Firmware v 9244

Connection to MacBook Pro to StudioLive RML 32 AI is firewire 800.

StudioLive 24.4.2 AI Firmware Version SL 1.0.9194

Situation:  When MacBook Pro connected to the StudioLive 24.4.2 AI I am able to pass audio from StudioOne, iTunes, YouTube and any other program on the computer to mixer and out to the speakers.  Works fine.

But when MacBook Pro connected to the StudioLive RML 32 AI I am able to pass audio from StudioOne to the mixer and out to the speakers as expected but no other software (iTunes, YouTube etc) will pass audio to the mixer.

I have checked all the possible settings I can think of but to no avail.  I have uninstalled the Universal Control with the uninstaller app and reinstalled the current version but with the same results.

Any Help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see any difference between SL and RM (checking it with iTunes on a Mac mini and 10.9.5). The audio output of your computer needs to be "PreSonus FireStudio". Audio is automatically routed to channels 1+2 of the mixer, which have to be set to FireWire or Network as input source. Channel routing needs to be "mains"... With Studio One you have a one to one routing. Track 1 plays back to channel 1, track 32 to channel 32. Only tracks 33+34 (Left/Right) are sent through your Mac. Hope this helps.
