Can I Deregister and start over by Reregistering?

I can't get past user name/email login. I registered my AudioBox under new account instead of my already existing account. Do I uninstall PreSonus and Deregister and then start over? Will it work? I've tried password reset, keychain delete,and I'm still stuck in login mode. I'm thinking if I Deregister, and start over by registering under my existing account (after uninstall) I might get around this problem?
