Question

Why can i not hear the song (playback ) when i hit the record button.

I hear myself and the song normally, but as soon as i hit record i cannot hear the song anymore.

What can the problem be ?

Hi.

Things like this can be very difficult to troubleshoot or diagnose with so little information.   If you ask it again here (or report it to tech support) please provide more detailed information (OS, Studio One version, what you are recording , audio?  midi?, etc, etc, ) so that the Answers community and/or the tech support representative will have enough basic information to at least offer some initial potential useful suggestions.
