Question

I am having a problem with getting my guitar to show up in studio one. on startup it gives me a message saying that i need to make sure the sample depth and bit rate match on my recording device (usb cable plugged straight into my computer, no interface) and my playback device (speakers, headphones). I have tried setiing these and resetting and its just not working. Any help is appreciated.

I would guess that your guitar is not an audio / midi interface.  Obtain a audio or instrument interface that accepts a guitar input and plug that interface into you computer with the appropriate drivers installed and Studio One should be able to see it as a input device.
