Question

Absolute workflow need for using multi input and output VSTis like Kontakt, Omnisphere, UVI, etc.  Multi-instruments only handle multiple audio outputs with a SINGLE MIDI input.  it does not help with the following scenario:

Working on an orchestral track.  I need multiple string parts and can load all the sample libraries needed into a single instance of Kontakt.  I set each instrument instance to a different MIDI input and a different audio output.  I create an instrument track for each instrument in the Kontakt multi in S1.  I should be able to save my setup to a template that, upon adding to a song, recreates everything including any inserts and sends.  If the send bus does not exist, one is created.

This functionality already exists in other DAWs like Sonar and Reaper.  Not having it is a deal breaker for me.  I simply can't work fast enough when I have to recreate the wheel every time I need a multi in, multi out instrument.
