Hello,

I have been using studio one 3 for a while, a local music shop helped set us up.  It was working great, and I recently had to switch laptops and now all of a sudden when we record it will stop recording randomonly, no rhyme or reason where it will stop.  Somemtimes it will go 46 minutes, sometimes 31 minutes, sometimes 60 minutes, sometimes after just a few seconds.  I tried switching where it saves and making it save on the desktop.  I do no thave anythign else plugged into any other USB ports.  Really weird since it was working fine on old computer.

I am using windows 7 prfessional.

Intel core i5 processor

RAM 8,00 GB (7.88 GB usable)

u2sg060813 model number of the audio box.

Using a HP probook 450 G1

This was a work computer that I use to connect to their network using a VPN connection.

I even removed virus protection.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated, as I record a podcast and have an interview set up in a few days.

Thank you

Hi,

You might want to set up a support ticket in case we can't gt you going here, you can always cancel if we get you going.

This could be a storage problem, suggested is NOT to record to the root drive and the drive should be a 7200 RPM or SSD, however I have had success with smaller track counts on 5400 RPM drives.

Next possibility would be your computer is having issues. If you haven't already you need to set up your computer for audio... here is a tutorial:
