Question

I just purchased a Rugged mini usb hard drive.

Is there any way to save the songs I'm creating on my new hard drive, but record the songs using the operating system on my pc?

I'm noticing more Prerormance and Cpu spikes when recording using the external usb

All you have to do is set the folder inside studio one to save to the external it will save there but record off main os.I have presonus on a ssd with my main os and my user folder songs,presets,presence libraries on another drive no problem.Just go to studio one in the top bar go to options then user data (I made a folder on my other drive studio one )then just set the path to it it sets the folder structure up works perfectly for me.
