I have been using my 1818VSL for some time now, without major issues.

Since april the 14, the 1818VSL audio output meters leds do not light up. The Audiobox 1818VSL USB software mixer has it's meters respond the sound of my DAW, but I still don't hear anything on main and 1-2 outputs.

Same thing when using others applications to play audio files.

The 48V lights work, as does the USB Sync light when plugged in to my laptop, outputs 3-4 to 7-8 are working fine, too.

Specs:

  • Acer Aspire V3
  • Windows 7 x64
  • Nuendo 4
  • Audiobox 1818VSL

Try to uninstall the AudioBox device drivers.

Then download and install the current drivers.

https://pae-web.presonusmusic.com/downloads/products/exe/PreSonus_Universal_Control_Installer-42326.exe

Test basic function.

Right click your speaker icon in your Taskbar and select "Playback Devices".

Set the AudioBox 1/2 outs as the "Default Device".

Test audio playback with iTunes and or YouTube.

If you hear audio, test again with your DAW.

If you do not hear audio, then you may need to create a Support Ticket with PreSonus Support for further assistance.
