Question

I have 2 monitors side by side, and I want one song open on each monitor. I have a MacBook Pro with studio one 3 artist. They're the same song, different recordings, and I want to be able to compare the two without having to keep switching between songs within the software.

You can do this on a Mac.

Just rename the current install in your Application Directory to something else like Studio One 3 (OG) (for example).

Then open the installer for Studio One 3 in the DMG and drag it to your App Folder and you'll have two entries.

While we don't recommend doing this because of system resource taxing, you can probably do it to compare your two songs provided you have a monitor big enough. I have a 27" I-Mac here, so it's easy to do.
