Every version of Universal Control has a specific firmware version and build for each mixer. On our website, next to every download of Universal Control there are release notes that explain what firmware version and build number your mixer will be updated to when you use that version of Universal Control.
Checking Firmware (On the mixer):
Press "System" >> Page down to the last page >> You will find the firmware version and build number.
The last page of the System menu displays firmware version currently loaded on your StudioLive. You normally will only view this screen when performing a system update, in order to confirm that the new firmware was successfully loaded.

NOTE: If your mixer is below firmware verison 1.12 as shown on your System menu page and you need to update the firmware, please follow the instructions below on updating that firmware correctly without potentially damaging the mixer.
