I am using studio One 3 with the 192 and the dp 88,    win 10, i7 quad, 16 gigs.   the answer to the question of whether or not you can get the full 16 input channels at the same time at 96khz with both smux channels is not true.   You still can only record on 12 channels and not 16.   I can only get adat 5 - 8 if I switch to 48khz.   I also wont work at 44khz and 88 and 96khz.    Is there something I'm missing?   It says in the studio one and 192 manuals that both adat 1-4 and 5-8 should work with both smux lite cables are connected.  here is the answere given: At 88.2kHz and 96kHz you will get 16 Analog Inputs (with 1 DP88 and both SMUX Channels active 1-4 and 5-8).     This answer is not what I am getting.   at 96khz I am seeing input meters light up on 5-8, but nothing in studio one.   Only when I switch to 48khz do they work.   Please help if there is something I am missing.   How do I get studio One to allow 16 channels to record at 96khz and if that's even possible.   thnks in advance.   Bill

ADAT Standard is 8 channels at 44.1KHz or 48KHz.

By increasing sample rate to 96KHz, SMUX over ADAT engages, yet you only get 4 channels over the same optical cable at this rate.

You would need 2x DP88's each running with 4 inputs at 96KHz to get a total of 8 Inputs at 96KHz with Studio 192 inputs for a total of 16 Inputs.
