Question

When I automate a channel in touch mode with Logic, the fader writes the automation ok in Logic but most times the motorised fader remains in the position when i depress it and doesn't go back to it's original volume. If I stop and playback it seems to correct itself but not every time.

How can I solve this?

This issue has been resolved in a firmware update, please ensure that you have your FaderPort 8 up to date with the latest firmware.
